The Iwatani Portable Butane Stove is a high-powered stove for both indoor and outdoor cooking. It features a double windbreaker burner to help prevent the flame from going out even on windy nights. The burner produces a max of 15,000 BTUs per hour and the unit features a magnetic locking system that ensures the fuel is locked into place, making it virtually impossible to load fuel cans incorrectly.
The heat panel system increases fuel efficiency while the solid brass burner offers exceptional durability. This stove runs on a piezoelectric ignition system and has a burning time of approximately 55 minutes when the burner is at max power.
There are a number of safety features that ensure this unit is safe to use. It has a pressure sensing device that shuts off the flow of butane to extinguish the flame if the pressure in the canister rises to unsafe levels (activates between 60 to 90 psi). The canister cannot be attached if the stove is not in the off position, protecting operators from unintentional gas escaping. It has an inverted drip pan that protects the use of the stove. Plus, the unit has a pressurized receiving guide which gives the canister and regulator an airtight seal.
