During sous vide cooking, you can create a blanket of insulation to reduce heat loss and evaporation. Simply spread these hollow polypropylene balls over the surface of your water bath. Your vacuum packs will stay under the water and the layer of balls will also reduce fumes and splashing hazards. The floating balls are safe to use in temperatures up to 230ºF.
