What products does Labell manufacture?
Labell specializes in wooden cutting boards and butcher blocks.
What’s the difference between a cutting board, butcher block, and paddle board?
A cutting boards is a flat surface used for cutting and preparing food, typically made of plastic, wood, or bamboo. A butcher block is a thick, sturdy board made of hardwood that is commonly used in professional kitchens for chopping and cutting meat. A paddle board, on the other hand, is a long and narrow board often used for serving or presenting food, such as cheeses or charcuterie.
How do I care for my Labell cutting board?
To care for your Labell cutting board, wash it by hand with warm water and a little bit of dish soap, rinse lightly, then dry the board. Do not immerse it completely in water. For thorough cleaning or to remove lingering smells, you can use large salt crystals and half a lemon. Spread the salt on the surface of the board and use the lemon to rub the salt into the wood. This process will provide a deep clean and remove any lingering smells or tastes. To nourish and protect the board, you can use mineral oil.
