The Labell Butcher Block Cutting Board with an Edge Groove is durable and attractive. Butcher block is made with maple wood which is an industry-standard material for wooden cutting boards because it helps block bacteria, resists scratches, is one of the most durable woods you can get while providing a neutral appearance that blends into both commercial and domestic kitchens. The 4 rubber feet (0.5" high) on the bottom side keep the board stable on the counter, the handle makes it easy to pick up the board for transport and cleaning.
Cutting board has an end grain, offering the ability to hide knife marks and will not dull knives as quickly as other types of cutting boards; keeping the board looking attractive and reducing the frequency of sharpening your knives.
Recommended to wash the boards by hand in warm water and with a bit of dish soap (do not immerse in water completely) and dry when finished. If you worked with a particularly smelly ingredient and wish to remove any lingering smells, wash the board with salt and half a lemon to deep clean the wood. Keep the cutting board in great condition with mineral oil that can be rubbed into the wood after every 4-5 washes to keep the block looking new.
Ideal for chopping, slicing or dicing ingredients. Board can even be used as a serving tray for specialty plates, charcuterie and more.
