Made of 2.5mm gauge cast iron, the Joyce Chen 14" Professional Series Flat Bottom Wok is thinner and lighter than standard cast iron pans. The flat bottom and sloped edges are excellent for high-temperature cooking - ideal for stir fry and other Asian cuisine (but can also handle other meals like burgers, cornbread or fried eggs).
The solid maple handle and helper handle provide a comfortable grip, easy handling and extra support when lifting and pouring the wok. It's pre-seasoned for immediate use and is recommended to hand wash for improved longevity.
