The stainless steel stepdown probe (which means the probe gets thinner approaching the tip) with 4' silicone-coated cord and magnets on the back of the base keeps this unit exactly where it needs to be and reduces the number of times you need to open the oven door.

Set either a desired temperature or amount of time and an alarm will sound when finished.
