Learn About Commercial Dishers
Commercial dishers are spring-loaded scoops used to portion control soft foods. Anything from cookie and muffin dough to truffles and mashed potatoes - the portion control disher can handle it. These kitchen scoops are made of fully stainless steel or a combination of plastic and stainless steel.
The squeeze (or thumb press) activates the blade that releases the entire contents of the bowl onto your bun pan, mixing bowl, food pan or plate. Squeeze handles are ambidextrous and reduce hand fatigue while thumb press handles are designed for right-handed chefs (but can be used by left-handed operators).
We have colour-coded dishers that provide easy reference and prevent cross-contamination while our extended length colour-coded disher provides more length to scoop ingredients from deeper bowls.
