Excellent for chopping meat and big prep jobs, the Global 5.5" Classic Nakiri Vegetable Knife is excellent for home or commercial kitchens. The blade is made with the finest stainless steel, called CROMOVA 18 (Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium), which is exclusive to Global. The blade is ice tempered and hardened to offer a razor-sharp edge.

The hollow handle is filled with sand to balance the knife for optimal control. It's textured to provide a secure and comfortable grip that's slip-resistant. The knife is simple to use the pinch grip cutting technique. Plus, the knife is easy to wash and dry (recommended to wash by hand).
